McLean, VA – July 11, 2016 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (“Trowbridge”), a leading federal information systems and solutions provider has completed a consolidation and expansion of its headquarters offices in McLean, Virginia. This expansion is a direct result of the company’s progressive evolution and will accommodate its growing staff.
Trowbridge has moved its principal office location to 1430 Spring Hill Road, Suite 200, McLean, VA, 22102. The new offices are in the same Tysons Corner office complex (Tysons Dulles Plaza) and building where the office was previously located. However, the company now occupies the second floor of the facility, and recently marked the move with the installation of building signage visible from the Dulles Toll Road. The firm’s contact information will remain the same. This move will provide Trowbridge with room to expand, while still offering the convenience of being located only 15 minutes from Washington, DC, in an area that has evolved into a hub of Federal technology solutions.
President & CEO, Karen Trowbridge, remarked that “We are indeed fortunate that our recent and future growth will be sustained through our expansion into a larger, more collaborative workplace environment that empowers our team to effectively work in concert and better serve our customers’ needs with an even higher level of service.”
Chief among the Trowbridge growing staff include internal infrastructure support and external focus on business development. Robert Smith, Chief Administrative Officer since 2014, has applied his technical and managerial skills to provide timely and effective coordination across the company’s service centers during the company’s rapid evolution. Gregg Melanson, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development, has been responsible for identifying and capturing new business as Trowbridge has focused on integrating current, leading-edge, and emerging technologies to satisfy all program stakeholders.
“While we have added new talents and perspectives over the past 10 years, we have kept our small business touch, remaining agile and responsive to changing customer needs,” said Chris Brandell, Chief Operating Officer. “This organizational philosophy has contributed to our outstanding performance record and excellent customer satisfaction ratings.”
Looking forward, Trowbridge plans to maintain and grow its service integration capabilities in the civil and defense sectors to support its customers’ strategic objectives. At the same time, it will leverage the systems engineering work it has at the Pentagon across various markets, implementing state-of-the-art technologies and gaining efficiencies to help customers address evolving requirements, shifting priorities, and increasing budgetary constraints.
T&T is also dedicated to the strength inclusion and diversity brings during times of rapid organizational growth and development. A third of its employees are women and other minorities and approximately a fourth of our staff self-identify as veterans, well above the federal contracting benchmarks for hiring veterans.
Trowbridge is an award-winning mid-tier contactor that is also certified as an economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business (EDWOSB) under its NIH CIO-SP3 SB, Alliant SB, and GSA Schedule 70 Prime contract vehicles. The company is CMMI-SVC+SSD Maturity Level 3 appraised with an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified infrastructure, and provides innovative technology solutions to Defense and Federal Civilian clients.
